Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and a quick-start guide will have you up and running with a clean, complete dust bag, hard floor solution and water tank in no time at all. The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can mops up a storm and also vacuums well. The mops spin at fast speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a range of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app which lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like for each room. For instance, you can decide to let the robot do a deep clean in the kitchen and living rooms but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It is able to detect small obstacles that other models cannot. The only issue it has is that it tends to hit objects and walls at full speed – but an instant glance at the cleaning history in the app tells you exactly what it's doing, where it's going, and which obstacles it's avoided. A handy LCD screen on the docking station informs you when maintenance tasks are required like emptying the debris tray, and cleaning the dirty water tank. It's also capable of mixing detergent automatically into the water tank, using a 600ml bottle of the eufy's solution. Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop can operate for 184 mins in Quiet Mode. The vacuum can last 136 mins in normal mode, before needing recharging or returning to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to look at every aspect of the cleaning. 2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop is the most recent version. It's not like the model from last year, this one features an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad, which greatly improves carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to pull up fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may overlook. Like the two other Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that helps to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and incorporates two cameras that can recognize objects, determining if they're walls or other surfaces. It can then automatically change its direction and clean them without skipping a beat. This is the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, however, it's also the most loaded with features. Its sleek, angular style is striking and has only three physical buttons that include the power button that also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button to return the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank will empty itself and the bin is auto-filling. The only downside I've found with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount to wash it manually. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which can cause scratches. The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of smart features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these through the Roborock app which is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app lets you schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's life. But you'll need to jump through a few hoops to enable voice control on this model, which is a shame considering how well it performs otherwise. 3. Dreame X40 The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with outstanding suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its intelligent design allows for personalized and efficient cleaning, while also saving time. The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to provide 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which makes it one of the most effective options available. This powerful vacuum can clean up the dry mess, which includes pet hair and food particles. It also comes with a top-quality mop that makes hard floors sparkling clean, even without a wet pad. The X40 is also very quiet when in operation and only occasionally bursting during modes changes or self-maintenance. The X40 also comes with a side brush that can be extended and lifted. This lets it reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean curved furniture like table and chair legs. It can also get under low-profile furnishings, making it an excellent option for apartments with small spaces or condos. The side brush automatically tilts down when it detects wet spots. This is a nice feature that enables the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors through excessive back-and forth movements. Unlike other robots, which are limited to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum at the same time. It can also be programmed to eliminate areas with carpet and mop only hard floors, or reverse the process. auto vacuum can be controlled via the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operation. The app is user-friendly and easy to use and the X40's clever features are simple to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, change modes, view maps and floor plans, and manage mopping setting. The X40 will also monitor its progress and notify you when it's done. The X40 is easy to maintain and has numerous features that make it a great choice for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, then refills them with clean water and cleaning solution. It can also detect whether the mop pad has reached its capacity to the max and alert you to the situation before it spills. 4. L20 Ultra The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive available and comes with a lot of additional features that distinguish it from. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that utilizes two mops that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it comes with the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can clean pet hair and other small dirt particles as well as picking up spills and wet spots. The mop is also cleaned and dried inside the base station after each use. This is a fantastic feature because it prevents the growth of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and it also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. This is a system we've yet to see on other robot vacuums and mop models and it could be a useful method of keeping your home cleaner for longer. There's a wealth of settings available which include the possibility to schedule cleaning appointments and adjust a number of different preferences. They can be set through the app, or via buttons on the device itself. auto vacuum is simple to use and has a lot of options for customising the cleaning process, and there are a lot of features that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles, instead of using an individual setting. The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen in the market, sporting a white and metallic design that looks elegant and classy. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots listed on this list but it's not too heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. The mopping system is well-designed and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them extend up to 2mm below the baseboards.
